Humyn LLC ("Humyn," "we," "us," or "our") provides Nate the Bait. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the game.
Scope
Nate the Bait is designed for offline play. There are no accounts in the current version, and it does not include advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, a remote game server, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Information We Process
The game stores the following information locally through iOS storage on your device:
- Game progress, depth records, catch history, expedition progress, mastery records, and wishlist selections.
- Pearl balances, lives, daily rewards, power-up inventory, cosmetic unlocks, and equipped items.
- Sound, music, and haptic preferences.
- Privacy and how-to acknowledgements, plus local transaction-recovery records used to protect game progress.
- Privacy-safe engagement diagnostics, including session length, restart failures, cave recoveries, run-end causes, expedition starts and completions, chest claims and resets, and return cadence.
These diagnostics contain aggregate counts and durations rather than player identity or location. They remain on your device and are not uploaded. Humyn does not receive them. The current version does not collect names, email addresses, contact lists, photos, precise location, advertising identifiers, payment information, or browsing history.
How We Use Information
Local information is used only to operate game features, remember settings, restore interrupted local transactions, display progress, and support on-device quality diagnostics.
Data Sharing and External Services
The game does not send gameplay information to Humyn or sell, rent, or share player information with advertisers or data brokers.
iOS, the App Store, and device-backup services are provided by Apple under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. A voluntary soundtrack-credit link may open an external destination through iOS. Humyn does not control information processed after you leave the game.
Children’s Privacy
The game is intended for a general audience. Because the current version does not transmit personal information to Humyn, Humyn does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the game.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local game information remains available until it is reset or removed. Deleting the game generally removes its local data from the device. Apple or device-backup services may retain or restore copies according to your backup settings and Apple’s policies. Humyn cannot access or delete information held only on your device or in your personal backup.
Security
Humyn uses the security controls provided by iOS for local application storage. No storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, applicable requirements, or our business practices change. The updated policy will identify its effective date and will remain available from the game’s Options screen.
